GOD HAS TIME
God has time to watch the star fade
And the sun grow dim and cold,
See the endless ages enter
And the centuries unfold.
God has time to watch the redwood
Grow to full maturity,
And to note the ceaseless minutes
Nibbling at eternity.
God has time to shape the sunbeams
And the slanting, silvery rain,
Colour every flower that grows
And to count the amber grain.
God has time to note the falling
Of a sparrow to the ground,
And rejoice with all His angels
When a lost sheep has been found.
And when lifes short race is finished,
And we face the setting sun,
Hell give time to smile upon us
And to greet us, one by one!
