THE
DEADLY AND SUBTLE POWER OF SIN
1.
"Your iniquities have separated you from your God" Isa. 59:2
2. "Your sins have hidden His face from you" Isa. 59:2
3. "So that He will not hear…" Isa. 59:2
4. "The Lord's hand (seems) shortened, that it cannot save" Isa. 59:1
THE
SINS OF JUDAH
1.
"Your hands are defiled with blood" Isa. 59:3
2. "Your fingers with iniquity" Isa. 59:3
3. "Your lips have spoken lies…" Isa. 59:3
4. "Your tongue has muttered perversity" Isa. 59:3
5. "No one calls for justice" Isa. 59:4
6. "Nor does any plead for truth" Isa. 59:4
7. "They trust in empty words and speak lies" Isa. 59:4
8. "The conceive evil and bring forth iniquities" Isa. 59:4
9. "They hatch vipers' eggs and weave the spider's web" Isa.59:5
10. "Their works are works of iniquity" Isa. 59:6
11. "The act of violence is in their hands" Isa. 59:6
12. "Their feet run to evil" Isa. 59:7
13. "They make haste to shed blood" Isa. 59:7
14. "Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity" Isa. 59:7
15. "Wasting and destruction are in their paths" Isa. 59:7
16. "The way of peace they have not known" Isa. 59:8
17. "There is no justice in their ways" Isa.59:8
18. "They have made themselves crooked paths" Isa. 59:8
THE
CONSEQUENCES OF SIN
1.
"Therefore justice is far from us" Isa. 59:9
2. "Nor does righteousness overtake us" Isa.59:9
3. "We look for light, but there is darkness… for brightness, but
we walk in blackness" Isa. 59:9
4. "We grope for the wall like the blind and we grope as if we had
no eyes" Isa. 59:10
5. "We stumble at noonday as at twilight we are as dead men in desolate
places" Isa. 59:10
6. "We all growl like bears, and moan like doves" Isa. 59:11
7. "We look for justice, but there is none" Isa. 59:11
8. "For salvation, but it is far from us" Isa. 59:11
CONFESSION
OF SIN
1.
"Our transgressions are multiplied before You" Isa. 59:12
2. "And our sins testify against us" Isa. 59:12
3. "Our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we
know them" Isa. 59:12
4. "In transgressing and lying against the Lord" Isa. 59:13
5. "And departing from our God" Isa. 59:13
6. "Speaking oppression and revolt" Isa. 59:13
7. "Conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood" Isa.
59:13
8. "Justice is turned back" Isa.59:14
9. "And righteousness stands afar off" Isa.59:14
10. "For truth is fallen in the street and equity cannot enter" Isa.
59:14
11. "Truth fails, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey"

LORD'S ASSESSMENT
1.
"The Lord saw it, and it displeased Him" Isa. 59:15
2. "He saw that there
was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor" Isa. 59:16
THE
LORD'S RESPONSE
A.
SALVATION
1.
"His own arm brought salvation for Him, And His own righteousness,
it sustained Him" Isa. 59:16
2. "He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation
on His head" Isa.59:17
3. "The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against (the enemy)"
Isa. 59:19
4. "The Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from transgression
in Jacob" Isa. 59:20
5. "As for Me, this is My Covenant with them…"
a) "My Spirit who is upon you…"
b) "And My words which I have put in Your mouth, shall not depart
from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from
the mouth of your descendants' descendants, says the Lord, from this
time and forevermore" Isa. 59:21
B.
JUDGMENT
1.
"He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing and was clad with
zeal as a cloak" Isa.59:17
2. "According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay fury to His
adversaries, Recompense to His enemies The coastlands He will fully
repay" Isa. 59:18
APPRECIATION
OF THE LORD'S WORK
1.
"So shall they fear the Name of the Lord from the west…" Isa. 59:19
2. "And His glory from the rising of the sun…" Isa. 59:19
