MAJOR THEME #1: “THE WORD OF THE LORD”

MAJOR THEME #2: “ THE PROBLEM OF SIN AND HOW IT AFFECTS LIFE”

b)       Conscious of personal unworthiness

c)       Consciousness of personal inadequacy

 

3.        The ministry of the servant of God is explained (and understood)

a)   A ministry of proclamation of God’s Word     Isa. 6:9-10

b)   The servant of the Lord must seek to understand his ministry by asking the Lord for clarification     Isa. 6:11

 

4.        The Actual Ministry of the servant of the Lord

a)   Sent to King Ahaz                         Isa. 7:3

b)  Message to be delivered to the King          Isa. 7:4-11

c)  “Thus says the Lord”- the authority of the servant of God   Isa. 7:7
